This house is designed to someone that awaiting death located in Japan. It was designed by EASTERN Design Office. The client explained “I will die in 15 years. It will be a house awaiting that death. This house is designed by Prentiss Architects and it was called The Ballard Cut house. It was located in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, WA. Its owners previously lived on a boat for 14 years. The house is looks very comfortable and warm cause it was surround by great natural environment. A minimal pallet of inexpensive finish materials was used to achieve an economy of scale and reduce transition details. (more…)
