This house is designed to someone that awaiting death located in Japan. It was designed by EASTERN Design Office. The client explained “I will die in 15 years. It will be a house awaiting that death. The building is fine as long as it lasts 15 years. Something small would be good. I have found the place… I’m glad the land faces East. I hate the sunset. When I die it won’t be sunset, it will be sunrise. When the final moment comes, I will face the sea and depart on a ship flashing towards death. It’ll be a time revealed after death.” So the house area is 440m². Floor space is 73m² is a house facing the East. via

Contemporary Casa Doble House design by Langarita Navarro Arquitectos

It was called Casa Doble, and located in Almonacid de la Sierra, Zaragoza, Spain. The building consists of two parallel residences with a unique second-floor structure, which boasts views of the valley and olive trees. This contemporary house is designed by Langarita Navarro Arquitectos. It has a unique mask design in the exterior design. And it looks more attractive with the shape design of the building. The architects are calling the oddly-shaped platform the second home: “an irregular geometric platform covered by a structural wooden shutter which folds to create different, unplanned areas connected directly to the bathrooms and kitchen self-contained functionality.” via

This natural family house is project is located in a new traditional housing area, where the architects found their inspiration in the surrounding traditional architecture. Le Duff and Girard created this natural contemporary house to be lived by a modern small family. He created this 3-bedroom house with plenty of space, volume and light. The slated house, the one that is 2 feet higher than the other houses the bedrooms whereas the wooden one is the main living space. Nestled between the two houses, a small unit with a flat roof links the spaces together. via
