Walnut House designed by Giulietti/Schouten Architect

Located a few miles outside of McMinnville 2.5 acre sloping site in a walnut grove. This is a natural modern house that combines with some minimalist furniture decoration. The house is one of the best works of Portland’s company Giulietti/Schouten. The concept of the house is to create free-maintenance house, so the chosen material also have low maintenance. Some of these materials are: galvanized metal siding, aluminum windows, exposed concrete wall and veneer wood panels for siding. All the rooms inside the house look comfort and spacious. The sunlight can easily come inside in every angle of the living rooms. It separated for two wings: the north one for the private Master Bedroom suite and home office; the south one for the living, dining and kitchen. All we can say, this is it!
