Designed by Gracia Studio, it was located in the hard season area. It was designed to withstand hurricane seasons and also need a minimum maintenance. The structure of the house is built with strong construction. So it will make the occupant feel safety. This Todos Santos house is design with simple and contemporary concept. Basically the house is one open floor plan for the common areas and the bedrooms are more enclosed to have privacy. It is mainly built with concrete. Some walls are covered with “talavera” in order to bring a traditional Mexican architecture into its design. The whole architecture design gives you the simplicity of the house. (more…)

Modern natural houses in the forest 4 Modern Natural House in the forest by COOP 15

These houses are built in the eight acres of protected forest above the old Preston sawmill. They are built with modern minimalist concept. The architects (COOP 15) want to combine 2 side of concept. The forest around the houses will give it the natural sensation, so the architects try to apply modern minimalist interior design for it. It can be seen from the materials that chosen for it. The wood and metal blend perfectly and became great combination for the exterior. In the inside you will enjoy the comfortable feeling with some elegant furniture. Thanks to its size the house has everything owners need when living outside the city. There are many places for relaxing, dining, reading a book and other activities so the life wouldn’t boring in such place. The site is also perfect place for entertaining like playing with kids, walking or simply relaxing near the nature. (more…)

Modern Natural house by SKB 1 Modern Natural House Design by SKB Architects

This house is combine 2 design architectures concept. The SkB Architects built it with a unique and fresh concept. The modern design can be seen from the concrete wall and the decorative interior. The Natural design can be seen from the wood panel that applied around the house. This Modern Natural house gives you a great view a beautiful lake near the house. The main living spaces were lowered to four feet above lake level, rendering a lower profile. Starting from the house’s entrance views through it reveal the lake beyond which looks to be on the same level. (more…)
