minimalist natural house in Seattle 9 Natural minimalist House in Seattle by Vandeventer + Carlander Architects

This house is brought to you with natural minimalist concept design. It located on a narrow thirty-five foot lot in Seattle, Washington. It was designed by Vandeventer + Carlander Architects. The Exterior design is mainly built with wooden panel, but there are also in the inside. Others material was used during the construction are cedar and fiber cement panels. It’s designed to maximize access to natural light and views yet maintain privacy. The trees surrounding the house made it feel so natural and comfortable to live in. Because of the small site it has three floors and a terrace on the roof, the views from the living room also fascinating. (more…)

A Red natural wooden house in Norway, it was designed by JVA. This house is built in the western suburbs of Oslo. The nature surrounding the house is very interesting. There are any trees and river that around this house. The house design was so artistic with the red color. The architects want to develop the house with nature and minimalist concept. The house mainly done with wooden panels, painted in red color for the exterior. The house is separated on two areas: for parents and for their children. Top floor with wide southern views is designed for parents, while the lover floor is faced the river and designed as children’s area. (more…)
